We saw the menu online and it had a dish with poached eggs over polenta with shaved fennel and parmigiana and we decided that we had to try that so we went there for brunch. That was a great choice and we were surprised to find a variety of bruschetta that were also great. Strawberry / ricotta and lox / tomato were our choices and good ones. Great neighborhood feel and a nice garden seating area in the back.

Excellent food in a great neighborhood atmosphere. We got there when they opened on a Friday night and by the time that we finished it was packed. Trout and spaghetti entrees were excellent and squash and marble potato sides were really unique and tasty. You’ll feel like a local here. Bonus is that you are a relatively short walk to the Barclays Center if you are going to a concert.

Great french🇫🇷 bistro with sidewalk seating. The calamari and burger are both delicious. Ask for the new old fashioned 🥃, you won’t regret it

My go-to for Cobble Hill working spots. Big, open cafe with picnic tables for working or hanging. Food and coffee served all day. Awesome selection of beer, wine and cider when you're ready for it

One of my favorites in the neighborhood. Looks like an old-world, upscale diner. Amazing burgers (and cheese curds) and cocktails here. Open late. Perfect for a solo meal or a low-key date

The Long Island Bar
