Who here has walked the @highlinenyc? If not, you gotta do it! It's one of my favorite things to do when I'm in the city. There are a bunch of cool restaurants and bars right off of it and you get pretty unique views of the city Iike this! #NYC #thehighline

Now this is one of my favorite things to do in the world... This park is so peaceful and unique with its stunning view of the Hudson river and carefully planned array of flora and fauna. While you are here you can also check out the Met Cloisters, which has a large selection of medieval art, they often have Jazz events during the summer - check out the website.

Fort Tryon Park

Brooklyn Botanic Garden

This has to be one of my favorite spots to chill in Brooklyn. The view is incredible but its never too crowded. Take a blanket and have a picnic, or chill out while you wait for your table at Paulie Gee's. Sometimes they screen movies in the summer.

WNYC Transmitter Park

9/11 Memorial

After your visit to the Whitney jump on the elevated High Line park and walk north enjoying the beautiful natural vegetation, the architecture and the unique spaces along the way. It's a great walk up to 34th street. Crowded on a nice day so don't expect to get your speedwalk workout. Enjoy the leisurely pace and all of the great sights. Look at all the new development along the way. What would have happened if they had let them tear down this old rail track? Donate at thehighline.org
