Tasty ciders on tap with friendly picnic table seating outside. Nestled right behind a number of houses, so makes a really cool venue. Food trucks and live music are often there to accompany your beverage of choice. Definitely a perfect stop in Lawrenceville to start out your night as they close by 9pm or earlier!

Arsenal Cider House & Wine Cellar

Great BBQ that we found while looking for food while we were at East End Brewing. Pulled pork sandwiches on white bread with BBQ sauce had authentic southern home style feel and taste. Going to go back to try the brisket.

Showcase Barbeque

Great brews and great space for one of the early entries into the craft beer surge in Pittsburgh. Big Hop might be their most famous but try the American Stout. Or try their samplers. Bring Fido and sit outside on a nice day. Also get some BBQ from Showcase just down the road and bring it in.

East End Brewing Company

Italian style brunch is amazing. Located in the historic strip district. Awesome eats, great drinks!

DiAnoia's Eatery

One of my favorite 🍕pies in the Burgh. Small and quaint with good atmosphere. Many choices, but my favorite is the Pepperoni. It's thin and crispy and topped with a spicy chilli oil. BYOB with corkage fee so bring your 🍷. Much better than an overpriced in house bottle!

Ok, so don't believe the name. This place is nowhere near the Birmingham Bridge (the T-shirts even say so). But it is worth a trip. Looks like an old school southside bar from the outside, but walk in to an extensive beer list and a cool vibe including hip hop soundtrack. Didn't have food this time but it looks like the BBQ pulled pork might be worth a try next time.

Birmingham Bridge Tavern

Start your morning off with the best bacon egg and cheese bagel in the city. Brueggers never again. They also have fresh fruit juices and smoothies. Coffee is up there for some of the best around town also.

Delanie's Coffee

First time here and totally impressed. Soup special was great and I am told that it changes frequently but it is always great. The burger was outstanding and I am told the chicken sandwich was great. Great value too. Homey, neighborhood feel to the restaurant as well as the surrounding streets.

Point Brugge Cafe

Although they don't brew their own beer here, they feature all of the local craft brews plus special features like the German beer collection that is just winding down. Cool space and good crowd make it a welcoming place. Enjoyed the Helicon octoberfest selection and friends enjoyed the East End porter. Definitely worth a visit to Squirrel Hill.

Looking for a casual place with a varied menu that includes a gluten free menu? Double Wide was perfect!

Double Wide Grill

Sushi is outstanding. Tuna Pistachio app. and Red Diamond roll are two of my favorites. Authentic Chinese meals as well, highly recommend the 5 spices chilli pot and the dan dan noodles. Justin and Andy are the best owners and always there to greet you!

Jade Grille

Great place to taste one (or two) of the excellent offerings from this Pittsburgh brewery. Sleek yet relaxing space inside and a few tables outside create a good atmosphere to sit and relax with friends. In the heart of the Strip but on a side street so less busy. Great selection includes ales, sours, ipa, toasted porter, etc.

East End Brewery Tap Room

Stop in to grab the best coffee in the south hills of Pgh. Local ownership that cares about every customer! Awesome food as well including great monthly dinners featuring different cuisines every month. Make sure Kevin makes you something delicious!

Orbis Caffe

Perfect lunch spot. Always heard great things about their food truck, which roams PGH. The Brick N Mortar location in Heidelberg is fantastic as well. I got the Flankenstein which I highly recommend. Salads, burgers, pizza, sandwiches all looks great.

Burgh Bites Brick N' Mortar

Delicious gin based cocktails. The bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable in helping you decide on a drink and all mixers are made in house. 🙌🏽 The food menu is English/Indian fusion and makes me want to come back for dinner. 🤤 Naturally, We only tried the cheese tray, which was served on a chalkboard tray and did not disappoint. N&P stands out in Dormont as a unique, hip bar/restaurant!

Needle & Pin

Beer cheese fries topped with pulled pork washed down with an East End Smokestack Smoked Porter. Serves a number of different Western PA beers on tap and has a solid American food menu. Indoor/outdoor seating and a laid-back vibe. Definitely worth a stop in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood.

Independent Brewing Company

Went here Sunday night around 9pm to do some work and get a coffee and a treat. The place was packed! No surprise given their atmosphere, coffee and food selection. Sat back in the big comfy chair that was open, did some work using their wifi and enjoyed an americano and chocolate chip cookie. Recharged for the week ahead.

Big Dog Coffee

Go to Hidden Harbor to escape the usual bar scene or harsh weather in Pittsburgh for a fun, tiki themed night out. The drinks are strong, but delicious and the presentation is 👌🏽. Be sure to try one of the group drinks if you're there with friends! They also have a selection of tacos, poke bowls and a small plates made with locally sourced ingredients. Hidden Harbor definitely stands out in the ever-growing Pittsburgh bar scene! 🍹

Hidden Harbor

Want tacos? Don't miss this gem in Brookline. Also a location in Beechview and Oakland. Quick, easy, and cheap on the go option! Full bar of toppings and salsas, great flavors all around. Can't go wrong.

Las Palmas Pittsburgh #1

Traditional Scottish pub with great food, solid beer selection, and footy on the TVs. Perfect spot to watch EPL soccer games on a weekend morning. For brunch, the boxty is definitely go-to.
