I forgot to post over the weekend but I fell in love with this spot in Encinitas โค๏ธ The beach is stunning, and there are these beautiful rock art pieces of you venture down the beach + a "waterfall". Absolute favorite beach in SD.

THE best spot for a pup on a warm summer day. The sand makes for great digging, lots of ๐Ÿถ to chase, and the seaweeds were chewy! ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿพ๐ŸŒŠ

Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve

Spectacular views and excellent way to get some exercise. Park at the far north end of the park, walk up the hill and take the Beach Trail down to the beach with a few detours for lookouts on the way. Once you get to the beach walk along the beach to the north parking lot. Make sure it is not high tide or you may have not be able to follow the beach walk back.

Torrey Pines State Reserve

A beautiful green oasis in the heart of San Diego! Come for the museums and beautiful botanical aviary but stay for the lush lawns perfect for a picnic! If you didn't bring your own eats stop by Panama 66 in the sculpture garden for a bev and a snack ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿฅ‚๐Ÿฅ—and then go visit the ๐Ÿผ๐Ÿจat the zoo!
